Open to the public during festival weekends.
Visit the Farmhouse Museum which depicts life in the early 1900's. The 10 room farmhouse is set up with characters showing how people lived before modern conveniences. You'll see wringer washers in the wash room and country ham in the smokehouse. See how people shopped in the Country Store, a far cry from the Mall. There's many antiques scattered throughout the Framhouse Museum.
The MOONSHINE MUSEUM features numerous working stills- from fully copper to groundhogs stills. The North Georgia Mountains is famous for it's Apple Brandy. Our on site guide will answer any questions you might have.
|Hillcrest's playground is always a big hit with a giant 50 foot slide, smaller slides for little children, and a great zip line. On your way to the Farmhouse Museum, ask to see the Moonshine Museum with several working stills.|
